Registration Terms & Rules

In order to proceed, you must agree to the following:

Forum Terms & Rules:
1) No flaming or trolling; trolling is posting controversial or off-topic topics/posts in the attempt of disrupting the discussion or upsetting people and possibly starting a flamewar. Flaming is posting offensive material about another member.

2) Sexually harassing other members, whether in public threads or in private messages, is not tolerated. If you feel you are being harassed, please report it to a admin or mod. If this is going on by PM, please foward the PMs to said admin or mod.

3) DO NOT ASK FOR OR LINK TO ANYTHING ILLEGAL! This includes ROMs, WAREZ, MP3s, or anything else along those lines. This could get us in trouble!

4) No spamming. Spamming is the posting of Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages, and is not allowed. Things that are considered spam are one-word post, things that have nothing to do with the topic (such as posting “My character likes soups,” in a thread that discusses an rp). Making a topic when there’s already a topic about it. Do not double-post, unless updating your sprite, hack, or fanfic threads. Spam posts will be deleted, and spam threads will be locked and/or deleted. Please read about punishments regarding repeated spamming below.
Keep in mind that we expect each post to contain at least one complete thought that isn't useless or irrelevant. Posts that do not meet this requirement will be regarded as spam and will be punished as such. Having posts of bad quality is a quick way to become a member of the idiot group. We don't demand perfection, but at least don't be lazy. The Rolling Sea of Stupidity is an exception to most of this rule, though only to a certain extent. We trust in your judgment on how to post in the Rolling Sea of Stupidity.

5) Advertisements are only allowed in the advertisements section. If you advertise your site/forum somewhere, and it’s not within advertising, the link will be removed. You may, advertise in your signature, but don't have huge links everywhere.

6) Please refrain from necroposting, or posting in a topic that hasn't been active for at least a month or so. This does not apply to your own design/hack/writing threads, seeing as you may update them after long periods of time with new work.

7) In the Design forum, you may have only one topic. If you have two or more, they will be merged.

8) Plagiarism is not tolerated here at FEU. Anyone found showing the work of another in one of their own design/writing/hacking threads MUST have permission from the creator. If you don't, you are most likely in the way to be banned instantly, guilty until proven innocent. The one percent rule. No kidding, we take this very seriously.

9) If you post spoilers, please be considerate, and add a spoiler warning to the topic (if you’re posting a topic) or to the post. Spoilers reveal things about the plot or story in movies/shows, games, or books.

10) Do not post or link to pornographic material. Children access this board, and not everyone wants to see it, as it is disgusting, crude, and offensive, and will result in a permanent IP ban no matter what excuse is given, no question asked.

11) Respect the staff. They are staff for a reason, and are usually qualified to do their job. Even so, they may not be right in everything they do. If you have problems with a staff member’s ruling, contact that staff member via PM or IM. Don’t try and make a scene on the forum. If you continue to have a problem with a staff member and don’t feel like confronting them, contact Aviv or Jaime. Please, don’t be afraid to ask the staff questions if you’re unsure about something. We’re here to help.

12) Do not ask to be a moderator/administrator/staff member. Asking will make it certain that you do not get the position. The staff will choose staff based on need and ability.

We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this BB. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this BB to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.
